Corinne Sisti, MA LPC
|
Hi! I'm Corinne, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of the La Salle University Masters of the Arts in Professional Clinical Counseling. I specialized in Addiction treatment. I have been working in mental health for almost ten years, and have been doing Clinical Counseling for more than five.
I work with adults, in individual, couples, and group formats, on a wide array of concerns. Addiction or substance abuse, trauma, depression, relationship problems, LGBTQ concerns, anxiety, women’s issues, and grief are examples of the areas I have experience treating. My clinical approach hinges on a trauma informed model with motivational interviewing techniques. This allows me to utilize a tailored approach for each person with whom I work. I cannot help but use humor regularly and hope this helps create a comfortable environment to encounter some hard truths in our sessions. |

I am a Resident in Counseling (since 2021) working under the supervision of a licensed LPC, and I have over 5 years of supervised clinical experience. I completed my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College in 2020; I also hold an M.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in Philosophy and History.
My approach tailors treatment to your unique needs - whether you’re facing new or long-term challenges, or simply want to understand yourself better. I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including specifically LGBTQ+ individuals and those impacted by systemic inequities. I am an immigrant who has lived in multiple countries, and I thus bring a multicultural perspective and understanding for those who feel marginalized or out of place. My experience also includes providing support to people navigating complex trauma and its effects on sense of self, relationships, and daily life. My aim is to provide affirming, respectful care that honors the full complexity of your experience; this includes a collaborative approach in helping you feel a sense of meaning and connection. |

Each clinician is currently taking clients via telehealth only. Corinne can work with clients throughout VA and PA. Galia is a Resident in training to become an LPC and can see clients throughout VA under Corinne's supervision.
Corinne is able to take Cigna, Aetna, Optum, and some BCBS insurance. If you do not have one of these insurance companies (or their subsidiaries), we offer a cash rate and will assist you in getting reimbursed by your insurance company. Corinne's hourly rate is $150/ hour for individuals and couples. Ask for details when you call. Galia is able to take clients for a session rate of $100/session. Clinical Supervision is available at $150/hour for supplementary supervision. Because I work for myself and for your well being, I can adjust session rates based on need, as appropriate. |
First things first: meet with your new counselor in a session! Get to know their style and a feel for their way of being. See if it's a good fit. Then assess the appropriate frequency of meetings FOR YOU.
The aim is to put ourselves out of business (don’t tell the accountant). Ideally, we want you not to need services anymore! So we start with more frequent sessions and decrease gradually until you feel confident you’re ready to graduate. Have an idea of how you would like to approach your treatment when you meet with your clinician. How often would you like to meet? What are your major concerns? |
