Hi! I'm Corinne, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of the La Salle University Masters of the Arts in Professional Clinical Counseling. I specialized in Addiction treatment. I have been working in mental health for almost ten years, and have been doing Clinical Counseling for more than five.
I work with adults, in individual, couples, and group formats, on a wide array of concerns. Addiction or substance abuse, trauma, depression, relationship problems, LGBTQ concerns, anxiety, women’s issues, and grief are examples of the areas I have experience treating. My clinical approach hinges on a trauma informed model with motivational interviewing techniques. This allows me to utilize a tailored approach for each person with whom I work. I cannot help but use humor regularly and hope this helps create a comfortable environment to encounter some hard truths in our sessions. |

I am currently taking new clients via telehealth only. When it is safe once more, I will take in person clients at my office is at 325 E Bayview Blvd. Ste. 207, Norfolk, VA and will continue telehealth sessions for clients throughout VA and PA.
My hourly rate is $85/hour for individuals and $110/ hour for couples. I only take that cash rate and will assist you in getting reimbursed by your insurance company. Ask for details when you call. Clinical Supervision will be offered in October and is $100/hour for individual and $150/two hour group once enough of those who I am supervising are interested. |
First things first: meet with you new counselor in a session! Get to know their style and a feel for their way of being. See if it's a good fit. Then assess the appropriate frequency of meetings FOR YOU.
My aim is to put myself out of business (don’t tell my accountant). I want you not to need me anymore! So we start with more frequent sessions and decrease gradually until you feel confident you’re ready to graduate. Have an idea of how you would like to approach your treatment when you meet with your clinician. How often would you like to meet? What are your major concerns? If you are attending group for addiction recovery, you will also be encouraged to meet individually with myself or a counselor with whom you already have a relationship. |
